Maronite Foundation in the World Holds Its 2026 General Assembly
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, The Maronite Foundation in the World held its General Assembly chaired by its President, Mrs. Rose Choueiry, and attended by Honorary President MP Neemat Frem, along with members of the Board of Trustees, some of whom also represented absent members.
During the meeting, the administrative and financial reports were presented and discussed, highlighting the Foundation’s main activities and achievements over the past period, as well as its future projects and priorities.
The Assembly also reviewed the demographic statistics included in the report, examining the realities and challenges they reveal and emphasizing the importance of relying on this data to guide the Foundation’s future work and initiatives.
The Assembly approved the 2025 financial accounts, granted discharge to the Executive Committee for the year 2026, approved the proposed budget for 2027, and endorsed the launch of the 2027 Maronite Academy session.
In conclusion, President Rose Choueiry commended the directors and representatives of the Foundation’s offices worldwide for their dedicated efforts, cooperation, and commitment to its mission. She expressed her appreciation for their continued work in serving Lebanese communities around the world and strengthening their ties with Lebanon.
