NAM 2026: United in Faith, United for Lebanon

The NAM Convention is far more than a conference—it is an extraordinary gathering that brings together Lebanese from across the diaspora, strengthening their bond with the Maronite Church, their identity, and their homeland.

The gala banquet, attended by more than 1,000 participants, featured inspiring addresses by the two Bishops and the Consul General, who highlighted the vital mission of the Maronite Foundation in the World and the importance of preserving Lebanese citizenship.

We were also honored to meet outstanding individuals who accepted to join a new Foundation Board in the United States, helping us expand our presence and establish new offices across the country.

Watching hundreds of young people singing Lebanese songs on the Fourth of July, while fireworks lit up the San Diego sky, was both inspiring and deeply moving. It was a joyful celebration, yet also a poignant reminder of the many Lebanese families living far from their homeland, whose children and grandchildren risk losing their Lebanese citizenship if their marriages and births are not registered.

More than ever, this gathering has strengthened our conviction that our mission is essential. Preserving Lebanese identity and citizenship is not only a responsibility—it is a legacy we owe to future generations.
