Former minister Michel Edde dies at 91

A teacher, father and founder of the Maronite Foundation in the World, former Minister Michel Edde, left us today. He is the one who combined intelligence, culture, generosity and the authentic Lebanese Maronite spirit.

He taught us many things and set an example by loving the poor, who he considered the younger siblings of Jesus Christ. Mr. Edde did all of this without looking or asking for anything in return.

He devoted time and effort to focus on culture and education, which he saw as the characteristics that made Lebanon the country of cedars and dignity.

Rest in peace, and rest assured that those you loved and those who loved you will continue the journey that you started.
