A Symbolic Tribute from the Lebanese Diaspora at the Consecration Celebration in Harissa
On June 7th, 2026 - The Maronite Foundation in the World participated in the celebratory Mass presided over by His Beatitude Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai in Harissa on the occasion of the consecration of Lebanon and the Lebanese diaspora to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and in prayer for Lebanon and its sons and daughters at home and throughout the world.
On this occasion, Mrs. Rose Choueiry and Mrs. Hiam Boustani, on behalf of the Lebanese diaspora, presented His Beatitude with a symbolic work of art depicting the Lebanese cedar carried by emigrants across the world. The artwork expressed their enduring attachment to their homeland and their mission to promote its values and heritage. It also symbolized the expanding mission of the Maronite Foundation in the World and its growing presence in countries around the globe.
